Welcome to Capone Live! The official site for the Jazz band Al/Capone. The word Jazz is hard to define; it is a musical form that is constantly evolving. As the great trombonist J. J. Johnson put it, "Jazz is restless. It won't stay put and it never will". Al/Capone has created a style all their own. Their music is an eclectic mix that fuses R&B, Funk, Rock, and Latin music together while remaining true to their Jazz roots. The band creates magic as they perform and become one with the music. Their interaction and improvisational skills bring the listener along with them through each moment. When the show ends everyone has become part of the “Family”.

The band is near completion of, “Moving Right Along ,” the much-anticipated follow up to “Mr. Smooth.” Al/Capone’s new release, “Moving Right Along” is an outstanding contribution to their unique style. Featuring the exceptionally talented musical styling’s of the late, great Al Young on trumpet and flugelhorn, “Jeep” Capone on drums, Ron Friedman on flugelhorn, Mark Colby and Peter Vircks on tenor saxophone, Vinnie Rose on guitar, Jason Craft and Ted Godbout on keyboards, and on bass Darryl Wright and Ace Mack.
